Magic Ghibor and Jewel's Sweet Dreams, b. Oct 2, 2008,
the world's largest lap dogs.

Magic talking here... I am not just another puppy. I am a professional puppy!

I do it all. I know how to chase toys and shake them to death (and eat them!). If I hear the word "naughty" I just go right in and snuggle. What can my Alpha do then? Ha! I ate a doormat once. I can crack ice cubes with my teeth. I love peanut butter, chicken, pizza, chicken, rawhide chews, chicken, homemade muffins, chicken, and did I mention chicken? I know what the best toys are. If another dog has them then they are the best and they should be mine. I am masterful at prancing and the puppy hop. I bet Alpha wishes he had a videocam.

Words to live by: Anything that touches the floor is legally mine, I mean ours!.

I was named after a song by Buffy St. Marie, "God Is Alive, Magic Is Afoot."
Here I am three days after landing in my forever home. I am 8 weeks old. I came from Vom Springer Kennels in Ogallala, Nebraska. My mom and dad are German Shepherd Dogs who were imported from Germany.

I am going to be a very big boy. Just look at my feet.

I graduated!
I am the darling of everyone in my Puppy Basic training class at Petsmart. Naturally everyone loves me. I have a crush on a Golden Retriever!

This is me with Ahava Shamira. She is nine years old and 95 pounds.
I will be bigger than her one day. Just watch her try to steal my toys then!

Ahava
Don't be fooled! Ahava is a toy thief in disguise.

Satisfaction. My Alpha adds lots of yummy real chicken to my kibble. He says it's a holistic food but it doesn't have any holes in it. What does he mean?

I only took up half this much room a month ago. I'm either going to learn how to use the remote control or I'll have to eat it.

If I bury this thing then Alpha can't take my snow away.
Feb 13Feb. 13. He will never find it now. Snow is the Creator's special gift to me. I love diving into big piles of the stuff. Snow tastes delicious even when it's gray!
Life is great.

Me and my sister
Ahava has moved away. I will miss her? My sister Jewel has joined me. She is the one on the left. Jewel will have her own blog soon. Maybe she will let me share it. We are being competitive.

Feb 18, 2009, I (Magic) weigh 60 pounds. Jewel weighs 48 pounds.
We are four-1/2 months old.

A note from Alpha:

Names I have used for my German Shepherds in the past include:
Ahava Shamira (Hebrew: loved protector);
Tung Jen (Chinese: fellowship with man, comes from the I-Ching);
Zhian Alpha (Zhee-Ahn, Persian: courage of a lion);
Luna (her full name: Looney Tunes);
Jamal (Arabic: Beauty).

Names I have used for my Siberian Huskies:
Koh-i-Nur (Pakistani: points of light);
Akimi (derived from Japanese: rosy as the dawn);
Sky With Diamonds; Dreams of Peace; and Celesta.

Magic's AKC registered surname, Ghibor, comes from an Israeli word that means strength and courage. Magic's name was inspired by a song while Jewel's name was inspired by a songwriter. Jewel's full name is Jewel's Sweet Dreams.
